MKJ Ignite are delighted to be partnering with a subscription box challenger brand on an exciting growth journey. With revenues forecasted at £20–30M and a brand-new manufacturing site launching in East London, our client is seeking a hands-on, senior leader to elevate operations and manufacturing to the next level.

What will you be doing?

• Lead and inspire a 50–60 person team across food production, warehousing, and quality control.
• Mentor and develop supervisors and managers, building strong leadership capability across the business.
• Drive process improvement through data-led analysis, transitioning from manual spreadsheets to tailored digital systems.
• Oversee the production of a fast-moving, varied menu, combining in-house prepared components with external elements.
• Manage 3PL relationships for consolidation and distribution.
• Ensure compliance with BRC certification, food safety, health & safety, and regulatory standards.
• Provide strategic insight, reporting, and operational plans directly to the CEO.

What skills do you need to have?

• Extensive leadership experience in food manufacturing, FMCG, or a similar production environment.
• Proven ability to scale operations through high-growth phases.
• Skilled people leader, able to inspire and manage both skilled and unskilled teams.
• Strong with data, reporting, and process optimisation.
• Experience with BRC certification highly desirable.
• Commercially astute, with strong financial oversight and supplier management skills.
