As our new Director of Networks, youll play a pivotal role in transforming our network infrastructure. Youll lead the shift from legacy systems to a modern, secure, and scalable cloud-first architecture. Key Responsibilities

Lead the vision and strategy for Bupas network domain, aligning with our digital transformation goals. Drive the transition to a product-led, customer-centric model using modern SASE-based architecture. Manage and mentor cross-functional product teams, including engineers, architects, and delivery leads. Collaborate across domains (Cloud, Security, Digital Workplace) to ensure seamless integration and shared goals. Champion innovation, staying ahead of trends in cloud networking, edge security, and network-as-a-service. Support business growth by developing scalable solutions for acquisitions and new site rollouts. Own the product lifecycle from discovery to delivery, embedding SRE, DevOps, and automation best practices. Engage with stakeholders to translate business needs into product priorities using data and customer insights. Optimise commercial performance, managing cost-to-serve, vendor relationships, and sourcing strategies. Ensure compliance with internal security policies and external regulations, embedding Zero Trust principles.

What Were Looking For A degree in Computer Science or a related field. Proven experience leading large-scale network transformations, especially to cloud-based solutions. Strong understanding of zero-trust networking and platforms like Palo Alto Prisma. Experience with Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform networking. Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as HIPAA, GDPR, NIST, and ISO 27001. A data-driven mindset with a focus on user experience and operational excellence. Experience working in a product-centric model, embedding DevSecOps and SRE principles. Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. A collaborative, growth-oriented approach with a passion for innovation.
