Director – Building Services

Location: Oakington, Cambridgeshire

A well-established, multidisciplinary property and construction consultancy is seeking a Building Services Director to lead their Cambridge team. The role offers the chance to manage and grow a talented team while delivering high-quality mechanical and electrical engineering projects across multiple sectors including commercial, education, residential, and defence.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in business development, client management, and project delivery, alongside technical expertise in building services design. Responsibilities include team leadership, mentoring, resource planning, marketing and business development, and ensuring designs meet the highest quality standards.

Requirements:

• Degree or MSc in a relevant discipline; CEng/CIBSE or IMechE status preferred
• Strong financial awareness and experience managing budgets and targets
• Proven business development and client relationship skills
• Full clean driving license and access to transport
• Demonstrable CPD in building services
