The Client

Harmonic are proud to be partnering exclusively with one of the fastest-growing creative powerhouses in the market. With a global footprint and a reputation for bold, culture-defining work, they’ve built a team that thrives on fresh ideas and energy.

Now entering an exciting new phase of international growth, they’re searching for a Director of People to join the Board and lead the People function. This is about building a world-class team and protecting the culture that makes them stand out.

The Role

This is not a box-ticking HR job. As Director of People, you’ll be shaping the future of an agency that’s scaling fast globally while keeping its culture alive and kicking. Reporting to the CEO and sitting on the Board, you’ll be the voice of people and culture at the top table.

You’ll take charge of the People agenda end-to-end: from culture and engagement, to talent and learning, to keeping policies sharp and simple.

Key Responsibilities

• Protect and nurture the culture that makes this agency different

• Make sure new and expanding offices carry the same cultural DNA

• Be the expert in the [board]room, bringing sharp, people-first insight to big decisions

• Attract, retain, and grow the very best creative and strategic talent

• Keep compliance and policies tight but refreshingly straightforward

• Build learning programmes that people actually want to be part of

• Lead and inspire the People team to deliver work that really lands

What We’re Looking For

• Senior People leader with experience across culture, HR, talent, and L&D

• Background in agencies, media, or creative industries strongly preferred

• Confident operating at Board level and trusted as a close advisor to senior leadership

• International exposure, ideally with US & APAC experience

• Progressive, people-first approach with strong commercial awareness

• Inspiring leader, able to get the best from a small team

• An engaging personality who can build trust and rapport across a fast-paced, creative business
