As we accelerate global expansion, we are looking for a bold, visionary Director of PR & Communication to architect and lead our PR & Communication strategy across markets and drive measurable impact at scale.

About the Role

As the Director of PR & Communication, you will lead the company's global communication strategy, ensuring consistent brand messaging across all channels. You will manage public relations initiatives, build strong media relationship and drive impactful internal and external communications to support business goals.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Communications Leadership

• Define and lead EMCDs PR and communications strategy globally, aligning it with brand and business objectives.
• Build EMCDs reputation as a thought leader in blockchain, fintech, and mining.
• Serve as a senior advisor to leadership on communications and reputation issues.

PR & Media Relations

• Drive global media engagement, securing consistent coverage in Tier-1 tech, finance, and Web3 outlets.
• Establish EMCDs voice in key industry conversations through articles, op-eds, and event participation.
• Proactively manage corporate communications, narratives, and crisis responses.

Influencer & KOL Marketing

• Lead global influencer marketing strategy and partnerships to expand reach and credibility.
• Ensure alignment between influencer campaigns and brand objectives.

Reputation Management

• Oversee monitoring and improvement of EMCDs online reputation, including reviews, forums, and community platforms.
• Develop proactive programs to strengthen brand trust and transparency.

Founders Personal Brand

• Design and execute a strategy for the personal brand of Michael Jerlis across Russian and English markets.
• Drive media exposure, thought-leadership content, and social presence to position the founder as a global industry voice.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Partner closely with Product Marketing, Digital, Creative, and Design to ensure integrated brand and product storytelling.
• Align communications campaigns with product launches, digital initiatives, and creative activations.

Team Leadership

• Lead, inspire, and scale a high-performing communications team (PR, influencer marketing, reputation management, personal brand specialists).
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in PR and communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Strong background in Web3, blockchain, fintech, or tech PR.
• Proven success in leading integrated communications strategies across multiple markets.
• Established global media and influencer network, with a track record of securing Tier-1 coverage.
• Experience in executive visibility / founder branding.
• Ability to operate at both strategic and executional levels when required in a fast-paced environment.
• Native or near-native proficiency in Russian and English.
