Precision for Medicine is a CRO specializing in precision medicine. Our integrated approach combines novel clinical trial designs, industry-leading experts, advanced biomarker and data analytics, and a passion for rare diseases and oncology, along with other therapeutic areas.
Due to growth, we are recruiting a Director, Operational Strategy to join our team.
The Director, Operational Strategy will be a key member of the Operational Strategy Department, driving operational considerations for RFPs and bid defenses, supporting operational teams, and representing Precision in client meetings. This role involves leveraging experience in complex clinical study operationalization, analyzing the competitive environment, and supporting business development to maintain our competitive edge.
Essential functions include:
- Providing operational strategy input, text, and budget review for proposals.
- Collaborating with medical, operational, business development, and other teams.
- Developing and refining operational strategies for potential opportunities, including enrolment, feasibility, and timelines.
- Creating proposal texts and conducting reviews to ensure strategic, scientific, and clinical robustness.
- Developing study budgets in collaboration with functional leaders.
- Supporting transition of operational strategies in project management and clinical trial management.
- Mentoring colleagues in strategy and budgeting.
- Representing the company in client meetings and industry events.
- Supporting presentations, feasibility analysis, and innovative solutions development.
- Promoting pre-award collaboration and integration of translational and data strategies.
Qualifications:
- Preferred: Advanced Medical degree, PhD.
- Minimum 12+ years in CRO/pharmaceutical industry, including CRO experience.
- Experience in operational strategy analysis and budget review.
- Experience in Haematology/Oncology, Rare diseases, CNS, or related therapeutic areas is preferred.
Skills include:
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Ability to develop and review study budgets.
- Strong presentation, analytical, and collaboration skills.
- Proficiency with MS Office and web/data platforms.
- Organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
Note: The role may require international travel including overnight stays.
