The incumbent will develop and lead the disease area Patient Advocacy Groups (PAGs) engagement strategy in order to build advocacy and strategic partnerships that differentiate BeOne. In line with overall disease area strategy and business objectives, this role will work with PAGs to ensure the Patient Voice is represented in the development plans, Market Access plans and commercial plans to maximize the potential of BeOne medicines throughout the medicine’s life-cycle.This key individual will be a member of the UK & Ireland Cluster Leadership Team and a member of the EU+UK Patient Advocacy Leadership Team.This position will partner and collaborate with global, regional and cluster colleagues in Patient Advocacy, Corporate Affairs, HEOR, Commercial and Medical Affairs to represent the patient voice within BeOne and to deliver strategic life-cycle activities.Essential Functions of the job:Member of the Patient Advocacy Team EuropeMember of the Cluster Leadership TeamRepresent BeOne at local trade associations for Patient Advocacy subjectsWork cross-functionally to elaborate and communicate the BeOne PAG strategy accessMonitor the Patient Advocacy and health policy environment, identify new trends, disseminate strategic, operational and financial implicationsBuild and elevate BeOne reputation in the patient advocacy communityShare the implications with country leadership team and EU Patient Advocacy leadership teamCustomize EU Patient Advocacy Strategy and tactics/toolkits to local needsEarly PAG involvement in planning of new products and indicationsDevelop a holistic local Patient Advocacy strategy, building on solid insights of local environment and PAG needs, integrating key levers such as clinical and economic evidence, policy shaping, multi-stakeholder engagementDevelopment of outreach and engagement plan for key PAGsCreate and maintain a strong contact network with key PAGsInput local needs into EU PAG strategy for current and future portfolioEnsure compliance in all interaction throughout the organization and maintain regular liaison with the local and regional compliance function to ensure that all processes and activities comply with internal and external policies.QualificationsA minimum of 10 years in the pharmaceutical industry and greater than 5 years in Patient Advocacy positionsExtensive experience in Patient Affairs in United Kingdom and IrelandDemonstrated success and experience supporting PAGs in oncology across medicine pre-launch, launch and post-launch in United Kingdom and IrelandIn depth knowledge and understanding of UK and Irish payer system and reimbursement challenges and opportunitiesDemonstrated ability to translate strategic insights into practical, well-designed PAG initiatives to support value of BeOne medicinesDemonstrated ability to operate in matrix environmentDemonstrated cross-functional collaboration and out-of-the-box thinkingAgile, strategic thinking and ability to develop innovative PAG strategiesHighly skilled in influencing cross-functional teams, including interfacing with key internal and external stakeholders and with scientific and commercial teamsExcellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills, including ability to synthesize data and deliver a clear overview of Patient Advocacy strategy, opportunity and risksOncology market experience strongly preferredEducation Required:Bachelor of Science, Master’s in Science or BusinessComputer Skills: Standard Computer Skills requiredTravel: Approximately 40% of timeWhen we exhibit our values of Patients First, Driving Excellence, Bold Ingenuity, and Collaborative Spirit, through our twelve global competencies below, we help get more affordable medicines to more patients around the world.Fosters TeamworkProvides and Solicits Honest and Actionable Feedback #J-18808-Ljbffr
