Job Description

Candidate is an expert, strategist and attacks complex problems. They are highly independent and manage multiple workstreams. They are the subject matter expert in their workstreams. Candidate develops and impacts strategy with cross-functional partners as it relates to their workstreams and the business at large. They are able to create new UX designs and prototypes in Figma and directs designers as needed. Candidate manages cross functional processes and meetings, evaluates and enhances team processes, and strategizes on how to improve design strategy across their line of business.

Works on a range of complex projects related to the team's goals, and cross-functional outcomes. Work requires in-depth analyses and evaluation of variable factors. Is responsible for multiple tracks of work. Takes initiative on improving cross functional processes, understanding the platform, and proposing new ideas. Understands the strengths and gaps on the team and seeks ways to grow them. Builds strong relationships with people on immediate team and across the company. Knows key stakeholders and peers, as a way to better understand how their work connects. Actively fine-tunes their expertise in the field and regularly uses professional concepts to resolve complex issues facing the team, and occasionally, cross functional partners.

Work on complex issues that dictate team success. Creates formal networks with key decision makers and cross-functional partners. Keeps abreast of industry trends. Determines methods and procedures on new assignments and coordinates activities of others. Meticulous attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Constantly thinking of and implementing ways to uplevel quality of work produced by the team.

Modified based upon local regulations/requirements. Bachelor's degree in psychology, user experience, design, human computer interaction or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience required, advanced degree preferred. 12+ years of related experience required; experience in the securities or financial services industry is a plus
