My Client, an International bank in the City, seeks an ambitious AD/VP with solid origination experience, to join their broader Project & Infrastructure Finance team in London.

The role will involve the origination of deals, primarily across Digital, Social and Transport based Infrastructure, and suitable candidates will ideally have strong contacts with Funds and Sponsors in this space, as well as experience of underwriting such transactions.

Responsibilities include :

• • Utilise existing client connections to originate new business opportunities internationally for the Division, predominantly with infrastructure investors.
  • Generate new client relationships
  • Screen Investment opportunities through client outreach and marketing
  • Facilitate or lead active relationships with investor, advisers, commercial lenders and other financial partners in the market sector and beyond as well as with developers, investors.
  • Structure the financing of projects as Underwriting or lead MLA.
  • In the case of “originate to distribute” projects, enhance the potential for distribution during the structuring/ negotiation process utilizing Syndications, NPI and CMU.
  • Assist the Bank’s execution capability to ensure deals are executed in an efficient manner.
  • Support the internal approvals process including interface with risk management, compliance, legal, distribution/syndication and other teams as well as management and credit committees.
  • Ensure adherence to relevant UK regulation.
  • Develop and maintain own expertise keeping current with the changing environment of the industry and wider new asset class opportunities for the Bank to consider
  • Oversee/coordinate associates and other deal team members during the new business generation and transaction management, as part of the Bank’s wider development programme for the Division.
