Job Description:

We are searching for an experienced Due Diligence Associate Director to make an impact at RSM UK. Our consulting team, which includes Transaction Services, Risk & Consulting, ABA, and Outsourcing, provides client-centric solutions for middle-market clients. We are looking for an ambitious Associate Director to assist in executing financial due diligence on buy-side and sell-side transactions and support new business development.

The Transaction Services team specializes in financial due diligence for business acquisitions and investments, typically advising on deals ranging from £20m to £500m.

This role offers an opportunity to work in Corporate Finance and Transaction Services, leading the execution of due diligence projects and contributing to the growth of the business.

You will:

  1. Lead engagement processes and report directly to the partner.
  2. Lead fieldwork teams.
  3. Conduct financial analysis on target businesses for due diligence reports.
  4. Communicate with clients, target businesses, and professional advisors during transactions.
  5. Develop industry, channel, and economic expertise.

Our ideal candidate will:

  1. Be a qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA or equivalent).
  2. Have experience in Transaction services.
  3. Have strong experience with TMT sector deals and a desire to focus on this sector.
  4. Have prior experience in writing high-quality, value-adding due diligence reports.
  5. Be genuinely interested in understanding how businesses operate.
  6. Have a good understanding of deal mechanics.
  7. Be accurate, diligent, and ethical.
  8. Be commercially minded and a critical thinker.
  9. Be able to build relationships internally and externally and work well in a team.
