Overview
Accenture Song seeking an Engagement Strategy Director to join our London-based global team, responsible for supporting the development of data-rich, behavior-shaping engagement solutions to deliver better customer experiences for our life sciences clients. We are looking for a results-oriented team player who supports executing our HCP and patient engagement strategy deliverables, quickly sees patterns and solutions from data, moves from information and insights to implications and recommendations, and is prepared to collaborate with our strategy, account, creative and production teams.
The ideal candidate will utilise qualities such as intellectual and creative curiosity, problem-solving skills, attention to detail, hypothesis generation and determination. You will know the media and technology landscape widely used in life sciences fluently and anticipate how this landscape will evolve in the health & wellness vertical. This person will work with a team of talented individuals at Accenture Song to help create prescriptive, actionable, and market-changing experiences for our clients’ customers.
Reporting to the Head of Strategy in London, you will help build and manage a team of strategists. Your team will guide our clients in shaping the data and intelligence gathering process, crafting engagement solutions, and defining the ambitions of these solutions internally and with our clients.
What You Will Do:
- Work as part of an integrated strategy team to proactively propose HCP and patient engagement solutions to help clients achieve relevant customer experiences while aligning to client goals and business challenges, shaping their data and intelligence gathering architecture, and their capacity to introduce viable solutions into the marketplace
- Serve in a client-facing capacity for omnichannel programming and content/channel integration
- Contribute to data and intelligence gathering efforts (including 1st party data) that uncover opportunities and inform how these can enhance the customer’s overall experience with the brand
- Translate historical analytics and performance reports into meaningful recommendations to optimise campaigns “on-the-fly” and inform future campaign strategies
- Clarify the translation from facts and information to ideas and impact
- Ensure engagement and content solutions developed by strategic planning, account, production, and creative teams are integrated within larger marketing programs aligned to drive customer experience
- Collaborate with executional teams during project development to ensure strategies are pulled through effectively during development and handoff
- Contribute to cross-channel measurement plans and KPIs and develop recommendations based on performance analytics
- Support digital, social, and innovation fluency across the agency
- Partner with the broader strategy team to contribute to pitches, proposals & POVs, strategies, and tactical programs that satisfy the business goals of healthcare clients and beyond
- Educate internal teams and clients on the vital role insights play in growth and success
- Drive ideas from data to conceptual platforms to deployment that drive business results
- Stay up-to-date on market trends and strategic initiatives in health and wellness, promoting innovative approaches
- Facilitate workshops to develop groundbreaking experience-led strategies and programs with clients
- Support the development of CRM and omnichannel planning with support from brand/content strategy and analytics teams
- Facilitate service introduction and change confirmation focusing on market opportunities
What You Bring:
- 7+ years of experience in Digital, CX or Engagement Strategy at a creative agency
- Experience in life sciences marketing, including both HCP and patient
- Strong analytical skills
- Expert in engagement channels and technology widely used in Life Sciences
- Impeccable written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to tell a simple story visually and verbally behind a strong strategic point of view
- A drive to elevate thinking and the work
