Director of Employee Relations & HR Compliance
to shape strategy, lead best practice, and drive a positive workplace culture for this global creative business. This role partners closely with senior leaders, HR teams, and Legal & Compliance to ensure fair, consistent, and legally compliant people practices across the UK operations and EMEA region. About the role: You'll spend around 70% of your time supporting the UK-based population (c.4,000 employees) and 30% leading a regional Centre of Excellence. You'll oversee policy design and compliance, lead complex case investigations, and provide expert guidance to senior stakeholders. Using data and analytics, you'll identify trends, address root causes, and implement proactive solutions to improve engagement and reduce ER risks. Key responsibilities Advise senior HR and business leaders on sensitive and complex ER issues Lead policy reviews to ensure legal compliance and consistency Oversee investigations, grievances, and resolution processes Deliver ER-related training for HRBPs and managers Leverage data to identify trends and drive proactive improvements Manage a small ER team, developing their skills and impact Oversee EMEA HR 'speak up' cases and contingent workforce compliance About you 10+ years' ER and Employment Law experience in the UK, with strong policy drafting skills Proven success managing complex workplace issues and influencing senior stakeholders Strong knowledge of UK employment law (Irish law knowledge a plus) Exceptional judgement, communication, and relationship-building skills Experience leading small teams and delivering results in complex environments Ideally, exposure to M&A, TUPE, and organisational change What's on offer Flexible hybrid working, competitive salary, and a benefits package you can tailor to your needs.
