THE ROLE

Due to the growth of business they are now looking to hire an Event Platform Director. You’ll play a vital role within the agency’s Event Technology & Registration team, shaping the technological backbone of global brand experiences. You’ll work closely with clients and internal teams to design, implement, and optimise event technology solutions that drive engagement and elevate audience experience.

Responsibilities include:

• Design, configure, and deploy event technology solutions across digital, hybrid, and live event formats
• Advise clients and internal teams on the best use of platforms such as Cvent, Swoogo, RainFocus, or similar
• Lead integration between multiple platforms to create seamless user experiences
• Deliver technical support, troubleshooting, and on-site implementation during event delivery
• Manage vendor relationships and maintain up-to-date knowledge of new platform features
• Create clear documentation of workflows and configurations for internal knowledge sharing
• Act as a trusted technical consultant, translating complex concepts into accessible language

THE CANDIDATE

This Event Platform Director role would suit an experienced event technologist who thrives on problem-solving and innovation. You’ll have a deep understanding of event technology ecosystems and the ability to connect strategy with execution. You will need experience of working with event technology systems such as Cvent or Rainfocus etc. Alongside this, you will need a good technical understanding of HTML, CSS and JavaScript to ensure to experience is user friendly.
