Role Description
Lead and drive the IRRBB technology change strategy as part of the Group’s IRRBB transformation programme Overall project management of IRRBB Technology change workstream Establish and run the workstream in a sustainable, scalable and strategic manner and set objectives, key deliverables and deadlines for each underlying action Responsible for ensuring IRRBB Technology investment budget is spent effectively, providing long-term value to the bank. (i.e. delivering long-term hedge accounting capabilities i.e. investment spend needs to be strategic and sustainable, not tactical or short-term) Actively track, manage and course correct workstreams where required and in a timely manner Report progress on workstream to IRRBB Project Manager, Accountable Executive (Global Head of Treasury Liquidity) and Global Head of IRRBB (and other stakeholders as applicable) Partner with all relevant stakeholders including (but not limited to) Treasury, the businesses, Tech & Ops, Finance and Risk to roll out an integrated and fit-for-purpose firm-wide IRRBB system Obtain all stakeholder requirements and ensure the technology solution is fit for purpose. This will involve translating requirements between end users and technology change agents Role Requirements
Demonstrable experience of mapping out a banks Product Control / Hedging processes and working with the IT team to deliver the correct solution A blend of skills across Business Analysis, Subject Matter Expert and Systems/technology and Change Proven ability to explain business needs to technology to deliver efficient and sustainable solutions to the business (i.e. know your way around tech stacks, yet be able to connect that commercially) Prior experience of a global wide system transformation dealing with multi-entity; multi-currency and multi-products
