OverviewExecutive Group Director, Customer Services overseeing housing management, customer services, income management, leasehold and homeownership services, L&Q Living (supported living) and the L&Q Foundation. Play a key role shaping and implementing the new corporate strategy (launching in 2026) and ensuring services are resident-focused and designed with residents at heart.Location: Stratford, London or Trafford, Manchester.This role is an opportunity to influence the future direction of services to residents at L&Q and to lead a high-performing executive team within a large housing association.ResponsibilitiesDrive the design and delivery of good landlord services that are reliable, repeatable and consistent, with a strong focus on resident needs.Lead across housing management, customer services, income management, leasehold and homeownership, L&Q Living and L&Q Foundation.Shape and implement the corporate strategy and contribute to the strategic direction of the organisation as a member of the Executive Group.Engage residents and communities through collaborative relationships with the Resident Services Board, MPs, local authorities and community partners.Champion L&Q’s social purpose and work to create thriving and sustainable neighbourhoods.Demonstrate innovative leadership and a track record of delivering customer-led improvements in large, complex organisations.Ensure compliance with housing-related legal and contract requirements, including home ownership and rental legislation, and housing-related contract law.Qualifications and CharacteristicsStrong leadership experience in large, complex organisations with a record of developing sustainable, customer-led improvements.Evidence of delivering creative and successful customer solutions or change projects.Politically aware with deep understanding of the regulatory environment affecting housing, including legal and compliance requirements.Ability to engage and work with diverse stakeholders and communities at local and national levels.Innovative, strategic thinker who collaborates effectively with senior leadership.Application and ContactFor more information and to apply, please contact GatenbySanderson.
