Permanent – 35 hours per week. Working pattern: Monday – Thursday 8:45 am – 4:45 pm, Friday 8:45 am – 4:15 pm.
Salary: £164,460 – £169,077.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will lead the delivery and further development of the following services:
- Facilities, Waste and Grounds Services
- Roads, Transportation and Fleet Services
- Enterprise and Sustainable Development
- Planning and Regulatory Services
They will build trust and confidence, demonstrating personal credibility and excellent communication skills when working with elected members, employees and partners.
They will provide strategic direction, analyse complex performance information and translate it into effective resource deployment to achieve high levels of service delivery and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Head of Service or Director level experience in strategic and operational management across large complex organisations.
- Experience of addressing key challenges facing public services in Scotland.
- Clear strategic direction and ability to analyse and understand complex performance information.
- Strong focus on delivering customer service needs within relevant legislative parameters.
- Degree level education and/or relevant equivalent professional qualification.
