Zanda is an Executive search partner that works exclusively with high growth start-ups as they look to scale their business with senior talent. Zanda partners with VC’s, Founder’s, CEO’s and CFO’s when it comes to successfully delivering on key senior appointments.


Who’s the business

Zanda is partnering with a high growth PE backed, Consumer business that has a presence across UK, Europe and US. With revenues of over £18million, the Founder is looking to hire a Finance Director who can join the Executive team and play a critical role in owning finance and shaping the strategy.


You will shape the future of the business, acting as a key strategic partner to the Founder, Leadership team and board, whilst building and leading a highly successful finance team. The team are in the office 4 days a week in Central London.


What experiences you will gain

  • Reporting to the Founder, with regular interaction with the Board
  • Introducing accurate and controlled processes, focusing on scalability and efficiency
  • Responsible for the monthly management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Producing models to project short term and longer-term growth and responsible for budgeting, forecasting and long term strategic financial planning and modelling
  • Managing the operational side of the business, ensuring the processes are scalable
  • Providing financial leadership across the business, presenting, and communicating critical financial matters when required
  • Supporting with Board presentations and other relevant stakeholder communication
  • Identifying and analysing market opportunities for business growth and preparing business cases to support new investment and other key strategic business ideas
  • Developing the growth plan for the next 5 years and run a successful fundraising process
  • Managing the relationship with Investors
  • Managing a high performing finance team that will support the company as it grows


What background should you have before you press apply!

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
  • Experience of fundraising within a high growth start up or scale up
  • Consumer background essential, ideally within a multisite, international business
  • Ability to provide strategic advice and guidance to senior management
  • Excited to join a growing company with a vibrant, entrepreneurial culture
