Description

  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team
  • Ensure accurate and timely processing of financial transactions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, treasury, and payroll, encompassing all group entities and acquisitions.
  • Oversee the month-end close process and support group consolidation activities.
  • Deliver timely and accurate monthly management accounts and ad hoc financial reports for the Board.
  • Lead the Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function, driving robust budgeting, forecasting, and strategic financial planning.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support strategic decision-making and long-term planning.
  • Manage the external audit process and ensure timely production and filing of statutory accounts.
  • Ensure full tax compliance across the group, supported by external tax advisors.
  • Oversee payroll operations to ensure accurate payments and timely filings.
  • Partner with departmental leaders to align financial strategies with operational objectives.
  • Support the CFO in preparing board presentations, investor materials, and executive-level summaries.

Profile

A successful Finance Director should have:

  • A professional qualification in accounting or finance, ideally either ACA or ACCA
  • Strong experience in financial management with proven ability to develop and implement financial strategies effectively.
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.
  • Leadership skills to manage and motivate a finance team.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data and drive decisions.

Job Offer

  • Competitive salary in the range of £100,000 to £130,000 per annum.
