Morgan McKinley are proud to be partnering with a Global business that is looking for an experienced Finance Director to join a market-leading organisation, reporting directly into the CFO.

This is a senior leadership role with responsibility for the UK & Ireland business, offering the opportunity to shape strategy, lead a high-performing finance function, and influence decision-making at the highest level.

The Role

As Finance Director, you will:

  • Provide leadership and oversight of all financial management, accounting, and reporting for the UK & Ireland.
  • Lead a team covering FP&A, financial control, billing, accounts payable and collections.
  • Partner closely with the CFO, Managing Director and senior leadership to deliver clear analysis, insight and strategic recommendations that drive performance.
  • Own the annual budgeting and forecasting processes, ensuring robust financial plans are in place and aligned to business goals.
  • Oversee statutory reporting, tax, VAT and audit requirements, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory standards.
  • Deliver accurate, timely management reporting with meaningful commentary to support decision making.
  • Drive improvements in financial systems, processes and controls to ensure efficiency, accuracy and scalability.
  • Act as a trusted advisor on business improvement projects, growth initiatives and transformation programmes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with substantial post-qualified experience.
  • Proven track record in a senior finance leadership role, ideally across multi-entity or international businesses.
  • Strong ERP and reporting system knowledge (SAP and Cognos/Hyperion desirable).
  • Commercially minded, with the ability to assess business drivers and provide actionable insight.
  • Experienced leader with the ability to inspire, develop and manage teams through change.
  • Hands-on approach, combining strategic leadership with a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
