Robert Half is partnering with a private equity firm based in Manchester to appoint an Interim Finance Director for one of its fintech portfolio companies, as it prepares for an upcoming sale process. This is a hands on, commercially focused interim role, requiring a senior finance professional with proven experience supporting a business through a transaction whether a PE exit, secondary buyout, trade sale, or carve out. Working closely with the PE sponsors, Board, and management team, you will ensure financial rigour, transparency, and robust control throughout the deal lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Lead all financial aspects of the sale process, including preparation of due diligence materials and coordination with external advisors. Provide clear, commercially driven insight to the Board and PE investors. Strengthen financial controls, governance, and reporting in a fast paced fintech environment. Act as the key point of contact for auditors, lawyers, and corporate finance advisers. Support the business through the transitional period post transaction, if required.
