We are seeking a highly accomplished Finance Director - Operations Performance to join our Finance Leadership Team and play a critical role in driving operational, strategic, and commercial outcomes. This role will act as a trusted partner to the COO and Senior Leadership Team, providing strong governance, meaningful insights, and leadership to deliver value creation across the business.

Job Description

As Finance Director - Operations Performance, you will be responsible for embedding financial and non-financial performance management across the organisation. You will lead the transformation of service line reporting, drive customer-focused outcomes, and provide commercial leadership to support business growth and operational excellence. This is a high-impact leadership role that requires both strategic vision and hands-on execution, acting as a key number two to the COO.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the COO, Operations Performance, and wider senior leadership teams to drive business performance across all key KPIs.
• Embed effective ways of working across service line shadow P&Ls.
• Govern and manage the relationship between Operations Performance and Customer Accounts.
• Lead transformation strategies with a focus on business case preparation, benefits realisation, and ROI.
• Support deployment of operational priorities and customer-focused initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement across financial and non-financial processes.
• Build recognition as a strong leader within the enterprise.

Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications

• Qualified accountant with significant senior-level business partnering experience.
• Proven track record in people management and leadership.
• Experience influencing key financial decisions to deliver positive commercial outcomes.
• Strong balance of strategic and operational mindset.
• Demonstrated ability to build strong, collaborative relationships across finance and non-finance stakeholders.
• Skilled at identifying insights, supporting decision-making, and driving transformational initiatives.
• Recognised as a respected leader within finance, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
