Director of Finance

Location: Hybrid (Cardiff office presence, with flexibility for home and other office visits) Salary: £70,000 Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM (with flexibility) Are you a strategic financial leader passionate about making a difference? This is a pivotal role, reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer, where you'll be instrumental in shaping the financial future and ensuring the sustainable delivery of vital services. As Director of Finance, you'll be the strategic financial lead, overseeing all aspects of the organisation's finances, ensuring probity, compliance, and prudent management.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Strategy & Leadership: Work closely with the CEO and Trustees to define and implement financial strategies that drive growth and sustainability, including assessing commercial opportunities and managing risk.

Operational Oversight: Manage the entire Finance function, ensuring all accounting requirements (banking, payroll, HMRC, pensions, investments, reserves, cashflows) are met accurately and on time.
