*Job Summary*
The Director of Finance will play a pivotal role in overseeing the financial operations of the organisation, which owns and operates 5 care homes in the Teesside area . This leadership position requires a strategic thinker with a strong background in financial management and accounting. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing financial strategies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and providing insightful financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
*Responsibilities*
* Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance organisational performance.
* Oversee all aspects of financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
* Ensure accurate financial accounting and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
* Manage accounts payable processes to ensure timely payments and maintain positive vendor relationships.
* Monitor cost control measures to optimise resource allocation and improve profitability.
* Provide leadership to the finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
* Collaborate with other departments to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
* Prepare comprehensive financial reports for senior management and stakeholders, offering insights into financial performance.
