T2M Resourcing have been retained to recruit a newly created Finance Director for a rapidly growing privately owned company that provide support services. With current turnover of >£15m the Managing Director now needs to recruit a permanent Finance Director to lead a small team ( all things finance!) and provide strategic business support and partnering to the management team. There's lots going on at this company (change is constant) so we need someone who thrives in an environment where you will be very hands-on and thrives in an environment where you can improve finance processes and controls. Managing a newly recruited team you will report to the Managing Director and support the wider leadership through the provision of high quality and timely reporting of financial reports, with responsibilities including: • Preparation of financial and management accountants with supporting analysis • Meeting all statutory reporting and returns requirements ( VAT, corporation tax, PAYE / NI etc) • Lead the budgeting and businesses planning process with regular review and reforecasts • Ensure robust compliance, risk management and controls, e.g. contractor ( (IR35) compliance • Ensure that internal controls and processes are fit for purpose and scalable, developing systems etc. • Cashflow management and forecasting • Management of banking and invoice discounting service provider relations • Oversee all trans...
