A leading global firm in the Trust & Fiduciary space with a large presence in the UK is looking to add an experienced Finance Manager to their London office. This is such a unique & fascinating role that goes beyond purely accounting. You’ll play an integral part in the business growth, support a portfolio of clients as their UK Director and help the business as they continue to expand globally.

Responsibilities

Finance & Accounting

  • Maintain accurate financial records for multiple UK entities.
  • Prepare monthly management accounts, statutory accounts, and reconciliations.
  • Support the annual audit process and liaise directly with the firm's external auditors.
  • Oversee VAT, corporate tax, and any other relevant financial & compliance filings.
  • Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting for assigned entities.

Directorship & Governance

  • Act as independent director for a portfolio of UK companies.
  • Ensure compliance with the UK Companies Act and ensure corporate governance best practices.
  • Demonstrate management & control for United Kingdom tax residency purposes.
  • Identify risks within the portfolio and implement any necessary mitigation strategies.
  • Work closely with the Business Development, compliance and wider finance function to support corporate objectives.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant area such as Accounting, Finance, Economics etc.
  • 3 years+ post qualification and with experience working in an finance function at a similar level.
  • Strong knowledge of Regulatory and Fund governance requirements.
  • Experience working with offshore fund structures is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrative understanding of the regulatory framework relevant to the role.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels.
