We’re partnered with one of the UK’s most exciting challenger brands, redefining a traditional grocery category for today’s health-conscious consumer. With rapid retail growth, a loyal customer base, and ambitious expansion plans, they’re now seeking their first in-house Finance Director to lead the function and play a pivotal role in shaping the next stage of their journey.

This is a senior leadership role, reporting directly to the founders and working closely with investors. You’ll take full ownership of the finance function, combining strategic oversight with hands-on execution. Beyond driving financial performance, you’ll be empowered with significant budget to build and develop your own team, establish best-in-class systems, and act as a true commercial partner across the business.

Responsibilities

• Full ownership of finance, from day-to-day operations through to long-term strategy.
• Business partnering with founders, investors, and leadership teams to shape decision-making.
• Driving commercial insight, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Leading fundraising and investor engagement processes.
• Building and scaling a high-performing finance team.

Ideal Profile

• Qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ICAEW/ICAS) with strong FMCG or consumer goods experience.
• Proven finance leadership in a fast-growth, founder-led environment.
• Commercially astute, with investor and fundraising exposure.
• Hands-on mindset, combined with the ability to set long-term strategy.
