• £150-195k + 20% bonus + equity
• Hybrid – 3 days onsite just south of Cambridge

La Fosse have partnered with a cutting-edge genomics start-up based near Cambridge who are looking to hire a Head of AI to own and lead their AI roadmap and division.

This company has a fantastic foundation, fully backed by an industry leading VC firm and the co-founders are renowned in their domains.

With partnerships already secured by major pharma businesses, this start-up is on an exciting trajectory and will certainly be one to watch over the next 5 years.

What I’m looking for:

• Deep AI expertise as your priority skillset. This is a broad role across AI so bringing expertise in some of these areas will be required: Computer Vision, LLMs, Imaging, Sequencing, AI/ML etc.
• Credible in life science – you have ideally worked in a drug-discovery environment. Any exposure to Genomics is beneficial as well.
• You are a pragmatic and collaborative leader with the ability to work with stakeholders as well as managing teams.
• You are able to be very innovative across AI from a strategic perspective.
• Credible hands on technically – although this will not be your day-to-day responsibility.
