OverviewHealth, Safety and Environment Director – a strategic, visible leadership role within a global services organization undergoing growth and change. Reports nationally and to the global C-suite; responsible for embedding Health, Safety and Environment as a strategic enabler of business performance across the UK.ResponsibilitiesShape and embed a world-class HSE culture across a large, complex, matrixed organization with a diverse risk profile.Lead with influence, building sustainable relationships across operational segments and partnering with the business to drive HSE improvements.Transform how HSE is delivered, moving from a compliance-driven model to a collaborative, enabling approach that empowers operational teams.Act as a strategic partner and coach to the business, applying emotional intelligence, vision and strategic impact at executive level.Provide transformative leadership and ensure HSE is integrated into business performance and decision-making.QualificationsSignificant senior-level experience in health, safety, environment and quality within a large, complex, matrix-based organization.Strong background in food safety, food manufacturing, or engineering, ideally in high-risk, operationally diverse environments.Proven ability to lead and develop HSE teams and drive behavioural and cultural change across a wide stakeholder group.Exceptional influencing and relationship-building skills; able to act as a strategic partner and coach to the business.Hold a Level 6 HSE qualification, with CMIOSH (or a clear pathway to achieving it).BenefitsBase salary £130,000 - £150,000 depending on experiencePerformance-related bonusCar allowance and pension contributionFlexible working, with a strong preference for London/South East-based candidates to enable regular presence at HQ and client sitesGenerous annual leave and additional benefits packageLocationBracknell, England, United Kingdom #J-18808-Ljbffr
