A high‑growth SME Media business is looking for an interim Finance Director to join their business to help at a pivotal stage in growth. This role requires a hands‑on leader with a strong focus on process improvement, financial controls, and the ability to troubleshoot change across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the finance team, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.
• Assess and streamline existing financial processes and systems.
• Identify gaps and implement improvements in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Support change initiatives across departments with clear financial insight and direction.
• Act as a strategic partner to senior leadership, providing financial guidance through organizational change.
• Ensure robust internal controls and risk management practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Financial Director or similar senior finance role.
• Qualified Accountant with either ACA, ACCA, CAANZ, CIMA or SAICA.
• Track record of delivering process improvements and navigating change successfully.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and leadership skills.
• Ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive change in complex environments.
