Our client is a market leader in their field and is undergoing a period of change and transition. To support this phase of development, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Interim Finance Projects Director to play a crucial role in the company's future success.

Location: East Midlands (2-3 days onsite)

Contract length: 3-6 months

Candidate Rate: £800-£1,000 per day (outside IR35)

Key responsibilities of the Interim Finance Projects Director

• Work closely with the finance SLT and broader business to understand their specific project needs and deliverables to provide tailored solutions.
\n\t
• Identify and track company priorities, costs, risks, service quality and delivery of company targets.
\n\t
• Assess the financial systems, processes, and controls of acquired entities and harmonise them with the company's standards.
\n\t
• Evaluate and enhance financial processes, systems, and workflows to improve efficiency and accuracy.
\n\t
• Review and improve financial controls, governance and reporting to aid in seamless and transparent statutory reporting processes.
\n\t
• Implement best practices and technologies to streamline financial operations.
\n\t
• Ensure that the company operates within regulatory and legal guidelines.
\n\t
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of the finance transformation efforts and continuously monitor and report on progress to leadership.

Essential requirements of the Interim Head of Finance Transformation

\n\t
• Fully qualified in either ACCA, ACA, or CIMA is essential.
\n\t
• Proven track record in working within large and complex blue-chip businesses.
\n\t
• Prior experience in a senior leadership finance role with a strong focus on delivering finance projects and change management.
\n\t
• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.
\n
