We are working with a Local Authority in the South West of England who are seeking an experienced strategic interim leader to drive forward the council's ambitious regeneration and property transformation agenda. This will be a six-month interim assignment as Service Director for Property Services and Business Support.

This critical role will oversee the Council’s property portfolio and capital programmes, lead the Council’s Estate Strategy and implementation of a Corporate Landlord model, and advise on the future council-wide structure of property and regeneration functions.

This role offers a unique platform to lead the council’s property function strategically - maximising commercial potential, shaping sustainable communities, and influencing high-impact investment decisions. They need someone who will bring senior leadership experience, commercial acumen, and a track record of delivering transformation in complex public sector environments.

This role will be on a hybrid working model with some days each week required on site.
