My client is seeking a senior Director for an interim Transaction Services engagement to lead all aspects of an upcoming sale from a financial due diligence perspective. The role involves leading the project, supporting the CFO with building the valuation model, owning the data room, producing the VDD document, and coordinating the sale from a numbers perspective. Retail experience in transaction services is highly preferred for this assignment.

Responsibilities

• Lead the project and support the CFO with building the valuation model and owning the data room.
• Produce the VDD (Vendor Due Diligence) document.
• Coordinate the sale from a financial perspective and serve as the primary point of contact for questions from potential buyers.

Qualifications

• Experience in Transaction Services, preferably with a Big 4 background, and a transition into corporate finance.
• Proven track record supporting retail businesses through sales and transactions; retail experience is essential for this assignment.
