Investment Project Executive
Location: Manchester
Role Overview: Reporting to the Group Finance Director, you will lead the investment accounting team, oversee outsourced investment accounting, support technical accounting, and manage investment data controls. This role involves managing change related to new product types, asset classes, and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
# Lead the financial close process, including ledger management, reconciliations, and journal entries.
# Oversee cost, project, investment, and tax accounting for the Group and subsidiaries.
# Manage the daily box management process, resolving issues and minimizing risks.
# Build relationships with stakeholders, provide insights, and challenge assumptions.
# Participate in leadership committees on strategic, operational, financial, and risk topics (optional).
Ideal Candidate: Significant industry experience in financial services, proven team-building skills, strong investment accounting knowledge, and the ability to communicate complex financial matters clearly to senior stakeholders. Analytical, proactive, and influential with excellent presentation skills are essential.
Qualifications: Successful track record, excellent academic background, and a desire to advance your career in finance.
