As Director of IT, you will lead the development and execution of Omaze’s IT strategy, ensuring seamless operations, secure infrastructure, and world-class user experiences for our employees across the globe. This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role focused on building a scalable, reliable, and secure IT foundation in support of our ambitious growth and evolving hybrid workforce. You will oversee infrastructure, service delivery, security alignment, enterprise tools, and collaboration technology, as well as lead automation efforts, vendor management, and team development.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Technology Strategy & Execution
- Define and execute Omaze’s IT roadmap in alignment with business goals, growth plans, and security needs.
- Lead cross-functional initiatives that improve internal systems performance, user experience, and cost-effectiveness.
- Partner with Engineering, Security, and Operations to ensure IT initiatives support scalable architecture and innovation.
- Service Delivery & Support
- Manage global IT operations, including helpdesk, endpoint management, access provisioning, and internal tools support.
- Design and implement frictionless support experiences by leveraging automation, AI, and data-driven service improvements.
- Ensure high uptime and performance for core productivity tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Monday.com, etc.) and business platforms.
- Infrastructure & Systems Management
- Oversee the IT infrastructure stack, including device management, collaboration tools, SaaS applications, and identity management platforms.
- Lead lifecycle management for hardware and software assets, including ownership of procurement, renewals, vendor relationships, budgeting, and decommissioning for all technology tools and services used across the business.
- Ensure operational excellence across AV/VC systems, hybrid meeting environments, and IT readiness for internal events.
- Security & Compliance
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders & third party partners to enforce IT controls, support compliance initiatives, and maintain secure access policies.
- Champion best practices in data protection, endpoint security hygiene, and device hardening.
- Manage identity, access, and configuration policies using tools such as Jamf, Intune, and other relevant platforms.
- Leadership & Team Development
- Build and lead a high-performing IT team with a focus on customer-centricity, technical excellence, and scalable operations.
- Develop career paths, succession plans, and coaching for team members across geographies and disciplines.
- Foster a culture of inclusion, transparency, agility, and innovation within the technology organization.
- About You
- Proven experience leading IT in a high-growth, hybrid or remote-first company: preferably in a SaaS, tech, or consumer-driven organization.
- Expertise in managing IT infrastructure, cloud-native environments, collaboration tools, and enterprise SaaS platforms.
- Deep familiarity with ITSM principles, asset lifecycle management, and service delivery frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Hands-on knowledge of identity and access management, endpoint management, and device security platforms.
- Strong vendor management skills, including contract negotiation, performance oversight, and licensing optimization.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work across technical and non-technical teams with clarity and empathy.
