Job Description
As IT Director, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the technology landscape of a growing business. This is a hands-on leadership position where you'll define and deliver the IT strategy, ensuring it aligns with the company's ambitious goals. You'll lead a small, agile team and oversee all aspects of IT operations-from infrastructure and networks to bespoke software development and cybersecurity. Your remit will include full budget ownership, vendor management, and driving ROI from technology investments. You'll also be the go-to expert for compliance and data protection, ensuring robust frameworks are in place. With the business entering a phase of rapid growth, this role offers the chance to lead transformative projects, modernise systems, and make a lasting impact at both strategic and operational levels.
The Successful Applicant
Proven experience as an IT Director or senior IT leader in a small to mid-sized business.
A strong technical background, particularly in bespoke software development.
Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Strategic thinking with a hands-on approach to implementation.
Experience with cloud and on-prem infrastructure (Azure, AWS).
Ideally, exposure to the conveyancing, legal, property management sector or similar operational environments.
