OverviewThis is a rare opportunity to join a globally leading, and exceptionally well-funded developer at a pivotal moment of growth. The Leasing Director will target new occupiers and lead the identification and structuring of leasing deals to capitalise on space within an extensive UK development portfolio. In future, this role will also include transactions across Europe as expansion occurs. The candidate should be a front-facing, commercially driven property expert (MRICS preferred) with exceptional occupier relationship skills and the technical acumen to lead transactions.Experience in the Industrial, Logistics, Warehousing, or Data Centre markets is required, with occupier relationships in sectors such as automotive, manufacturing, supermarkets, e-commerce, defence, or technology.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn occupier-facing activity across schemes, driving transactions across existing schemes and bespoke Build-to-Suit projects.Build and maintain strong relationships with occupiers in sectors including retail, e-commerce, cold chain, manufacturing, and automotive.Structure and negotiate leasing, development, and partnership agreements aligned with commercial and strategic objectives.Collaborate with internal Development & Asset Management teams to deliver tailored, value-driven property solutions.Identify, appraise, and secure new land and development opportunities across the UK and Europe.Lead negotiations through heads of terms, valuation, and due diligence stages.Oversee feasibility, planning strategy, and financial appraisals to support robust investment decisions.Drive site promotion and disposal strategies in collaboration with external advisors.Stakeholder & Consultant ManagementManage and motivate retained agents, ensuring market coverage and a strong pipeline.Oversee relationships with external advisors, consultants, and local authorities.Represent the firm at industry events to promote visibility and attract new customers.Leadership & ReportingManage a small internal team alongside external professional advisors.Provide regular performance and deal updates to senior leadership.Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture focused on delivery and long-term value creation.Experience & QualificationsQualificationsDegree in Real Estate, Land Management, or a related discipline.ExperienceProven success in industrial/logistics/warehousing/retail/data centres markets, with a strong focus on deal structuring and occupier engagement.Track record of negotiating complex Build-to-Suit and development transactions.Solid understanding of valuation, development appraisals, planning, and deal structuring.Exposure to logistics, supply chain, or infrastructure-led development sectors is beneficial.Skills & AttributesHighly commercial with excellent negotiation and relationship-building skills.Confident communicator with gravitas to engage at senior occupier and investor levels.Strategic thinker with the ability to execute efficiently and deliver results.Strong leadership skills with experience managing consultants and internal teams.Seniority levelDirectorEmployment typeFull-timeJob functionOther #J-18808-Ljbffr
