Aether Financial Services is a private debt and capital markets service provider with operations in Paris and London. The company offers agency services and valuation and calculation, and provides value-added services through its proprietary VOX AEQUITAS solutions. This description reflects the London-based Senior Business Development Director for the AGENCY PRIVATE DEBT activity to accelerate growth in the UK.

Job Description

• To support development, AFS is creating a position at its London office for a Senior Business Development Director of the AGENCY PRIVATE DEBT activity to accelerate growth in the UK.
• Report directly to General Management with a familiarization phase to understand the Company’s offers and develop a formal development strategy (markets and targets) and the corresponding commercial discourse.
• Formalize communication/marketing material to promote Aether FS’s offers and propose essential evolutions to reinforce market position in terms of offers and services.
• Coordinate resources and act as a field operator to realize development actions for the offers vis‑à‑vis identified targets, leveraging existing contacts and new targets in the UK and Continental Europe.
• Collaborate with other Business Unit Directors to maximize information sharing and opportunities for joint development and synergies.
• Provide regular reporting and monthly updates to General Management on progress and planned actions to achieve development objectives, including customer follow-up and commercial proposals.
• Develop a coherent, innovative service offering tailored to post-transactional challenges of private debt operations.
• Develop commercial positioning, identify priority targets, build marketing arguments, and implement an active prospecting strategy leveraging networks.
• Involve in all communication elements related to the business (sales presentations, blogs, articles, webinars, round tables, trade shows) in collaboration with internal teams to ensure visibility and differentiation in the market.
• Maintain involvement in existing projects to inform strategic thinking through operational insights and performance drivers.
• Participate in industry events and conferences to raise visibility of the offering and expand the development network.
• Monitor market trends and regulatory developments that may impact or promote the company’s activities in the UK and internationally, with attention to French, Spanish, Italian, and other European markets.

Your Profile

• 10 to 12 years minimum experience in the Agency Private Debt Business Development with proven understanding of the UK landscape and some international exposure.
• Strong operational knowledge of UK Private Debt markets (technical, regulatory and legal).
• Highly motivated, entrepreneurial, independent, and committed to growth.
• Willingness to take operational control of the development of an activity with commercial, marketing and field management challenges within a strong strategic framework.
• Proficient in Office 365.
• Fluent in English; another European language (German, Dutch, Spanish) is a strong plus.
• Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team; accountability and sense of customer relationship, autonomy.
