About the Role As the Managing Director , you will be responsible for shaping and executing the companys strategy, driving business growth, and fostering key relationships within the transport industry and the local community. You will lead a team of senior executives and oversee a workforce of more than 7,500 colleagues , ensuring operational excellence and business effectiveness. Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a strategic vision that ensures long-term success. Lead and inspire the senior leadership team to maximize performance. Identify new business opportunities and drive revenue growth. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, transport networks, and government bodies. Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to shape industry-leading strategies. Represent Go-Ahead London at events and conferences, championing innovation in transport.

What We're Looking For A strategic thinker with a strong commercial and entrepreneurial mindset. Proven experience in leading a large-scale consumer-facing business, ideally within public services or transport. A leader with gravitas who inspires teams to excel. Expertise in managing unionised environments and driving cultural change. Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
