What We’re Looking For:
To continue our successful growth, we are looking for a Managing Director / General Business Manager.
This is not a cushy executive position - this is a leadership role for someone who thrives on outcomes, expects excellence, and has a proven track record of getting results in fast-paced, high-growth environments. You’ll be responsible for turning the CEO’s vision into reality by managing all department heads, aligning the organization around strategic goals, and holding the entire team accountable to performance and delivery.
You’ll act as the CEO’s right hand - owning execution and operational excellence across the business. This includes overseeing marketing, client acquisition, service delivery, finance, and internal operations. You’ll meet regularly with department heads to drive results, coach them through bottlenecks, and ensure that the entire company is aligned, focused, and hitting targets.
If you're a strategic executor who knows how to build, lead, and scale a business, and you’re not afraid to get your hands dirty in the process, this is the role for you.
What You’ll Do
- Execute the CEO’s Vision - Translate high-level strategy into clear plans, drive alignment across teams, and ensure execution without compromise.
- Manage Department Heads - Lead marketing, sales, operations, service delivery, and others, keeping them accountable to KPIs and delivery timelines.
- Drive Business Performance - Ensure the company consistently hits its revenue, profitability, and growth targets through hands-on leadership and smart decision-making.
- Oversee Strategic Projects - Lead major initiatives like new market launches, back-end offer development, and automation rollouts from concept to completion.
- Optimize Operations & Processes - Identify inefficiencies, implement scalable systems, and increase team output across the board.
- Own Weekly Cadence - Run executive meetings, track project velocity, and ensure clarity and accountability every week.
- Build & Restructure Teams - Ensure the right people are in the right roles. Make tough calls when needed to raise the overall standard of execution.
- Drive Culture & Accountability - Set the tone for directness, urgency, and ownership. Ensure expectations are set high and met on time.
- Monitor Financial Health - Collaborate with finance to forecast revenue, track expenses, and maintain profitability across the organization.
- Unblock & Solve - Step in wherever needed to remove obstacles, make high-leverage decisions, and keep momentum going.
KPIs
- Revenue & Profitability Targets - Ensure the company consistently meets or exceeds quarterly revenue and margin goals.
- Execution Velocity - Deliver key strategic projects on time and within scope, with measurable impact on growth or efficiency.
- Departmental Performance - Maintain or improve KPI attainment across all departments, ensuring every leader hits agreed metrics.
Who You Are
- Proven leader - You've led teams of at least 50 people, managed businesses doing $10M+ in annual revenue, or earned fast promotions in high-growth environments by outperforming targets.
- Execution-focused - You take strategy and turn it into results. You don't wait around, and you don't need hand-holding.
- High standards, no excuses - You expect A-player performance from yourself and others. You confront problems directly and cut underperformance fast.
- Strategic and hands-on - You think like an operator. You can zoom out to see the full picture, then dive in and fix what's broken.
- Direct communicator - You’re clear, honest, and don’t sugarcoat. You value speed and clarity over ego and politics.
- Outcome-obsessed - You care about results, not appearances. You expect every project, team, and department to pull real weight.
- Owner mindset - You treat the business like it’s yours. You solve problems fast, spot opportunities early, and push growth above all else.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business, operations, management, or a related field
- 5+ years in a senior leadership role, such as Managing Director, COO, GM, or equivalent
- Experience managing teams of 50 or more, or multiple departments within a business generating $10M+ in annual revenue
- Proven track record of consistent overperformance and fast promotions in previous roles
- Demonstrated success launching and executing cross-functional strategic initiatives
- Strong background in operations, finance, and multi-department execution
- Proven ability to hire, coach, and performance-manage senior leadership teams
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Proficient with modern operational tools, dashboards, and KPI systems
- Experience working directly with a CEO or founder in a high-growth environment
What Success Looks Like
- First 30 Days - You’ve audited every department, aligned with the CEO, and taken control of the weekly execution cadence.
- By Day 60 - You’ve raised standards, corrected bottlenecks, and started driving key growth or operational initiatives.
- By Day 90 - You’ve delivered measurable business results, fully own internal execution, and are seen as the driver of accountability and performance.
Working Hours and Compensation
- Hours: Full-time (45+ hours per week)
- OTE: $100000-$180000/year
Additional Benefits:
- Paid Leadership Retreats - Join in-person strategy sessions and team offsites, including trips to Dubai.
- Performance-Based Bonuses - Earn handsome incentives tied to execution and company results.
- Long-Term Value Opportunity - Invitation to share scheme based on performance and relative to the value you bring the organization after 12 months.
- Remote and Flexible - Fully remote role with flexibility, as long as results are delivered.
