About the Role

The purpose of this role is to lead the marketing and communications function in executing external marketing strategies and internal communication plans. You will ensure consistent brand messaging across channels, align marketing efforts with organisational goals, and foster a positive internal culture. The role blends tactical execution with long-term strategy and partners with the executive leadership team to drive growth and profitability. We are especially interested in candidates with digital-first experience and experience across the EMEA region. A background in professional services or consultancy-led businesses is desirable where strategic marketing and stakeholder engagement are key.

Responsibilities

  • Overall responsibility for the marketing team within RKS, internal communications media within RKS, and the business-specific marketing strategy, plans, projects, and campaigns
  • Identify and oversee marketing initiatives through campaigns, events, digital marketing, and PR
  • Support development of value propositions for campaigns, bids, and proposals
  • Increase awareness by managing social media and digital communication strategy to build engagement and community

Person Specification

In collaboration with marketing leaders across the Tetra Tech portfolio, oversee and innovate with digital marketing channels and websites to optimise the brand and advocate for the RKS operating unit. Guide continuous analysis of the competitive environment and market trends. Implement a data-driven approach to refine strategies and improve marketing effectiveness. Present monthly performance narratives to executive leadership, linking initiatives to ROI. Set and manage the departmental budget in line with forecast and strategy. Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders across regions, driving thought leadership and content creation in support of marketing strategy. Oversee maintenance of internal communications media and internal messaging content. Lead and develop a high-performing marketing team and drive a culture of creativity, innovation, and data-driven decision-making. Lead growth and structuring of the marketing team to support business objectives. Promote a culture of excellence, collaboration, and results-driven execution.

About You

  • Experience leading teams across geographical regions (Dutch or European experience preferred)
  • Substantial marketing leadership experience, ideally within a professional services or consultancy-led environment
  • Strong digital marketing background with proven success in EMEA markets
  • Deep understanding of digital technologies, media tools, and emerging innovations
  • Adept strategist but comfortable being hands-on
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills to measure activity and drive performance
  • Outstanding communication skills in written and verbal English
  • Experience working within a portfolio or matrix business

Desirable

  • Professional qualification in Marketing and/or Communications
  • Dutch speaker
