We are launching Parcelhero Pro for DTC e-commerce merchants across the UK and the USA to streamline shipping and fulfilment operations. About the role
Parcelhero is seeking a Marketing Director to lead a team of six and manage a multi-million-pound budget. This strategic and hands-on role will lead all marketing efforts, including brand strategy, content creation, performance marketing, and team leadership. You will build a cohesive marketing vision that drives growth for both our price comparison site and the Parcelhero Pro B2B SaaS product. The ideal candidate will be a creative leader with a strong analytical background capable of developing and executing integrated marketing strategies that generate leads, acquire customers, and build brand presence.
What will you be doing?
- Strategy and Vision: Define and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that aligns with business objectives for both the B2C price comparison platform and the B2B SaaS ParcelHero Pro product.
- Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and grow a marketing team with a focus on high performance, collaboration, and innovation.
- Budget Management: Manage and optimize a multi-million pound marketing budget to maximize ROI across all channels.
- Brand & Content: Develop and maintain the Parcelhero brand and oversee the creation of content (website copy, blog posts, case studies, thought leadership).
- Performance Marketing: Oversee paid digital channels and organic channels to drive user acquisition and lead generation.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product, Sales, and Development to align marketing efforts and support product launches.
- Data-Driven Decision Making: Use analytics to track performance, identify trends, and inform decisions across marketing activities.
What are we looking for?
- Marketing Leadership: Proven experience leading and developing a marketing team and fostering a collaborative environment.
- Brand & Demand Generation: Experience in brand building and demand generation with measurable outcomes.
- Analytics: Strong ability to analyze data and translate insights into action.
- Industry Experience: Experience with consumer and business brands, ideally in ecommerce or logistics; experience with price comparison or shipping platforms is a plus.
- Feedback Management: Ability to provide constructive feedback on ad creatives and landing pages.
- Leadership Presence: Ability to influence across diverse stakeholders.
- Workflow Optimization: Experience with tools and processes to improve productivity and timelines.
- Advertising Knowledge: Familiar with advertising across social, display, SEO, SEM, and mobile channels.
- Business Acumen: Knowledge of the parcel delivery and ecommerce landscape.
- Organizational Skills: Comfortable in a fast-paced, remote-first growth environment; highly organized and detail-oriented.
Requirements
- 10+ years of progressive marketing experience with a track record of growth in both B2C and B2B contexts.
- Experience leading and managing a high-performing marketing team.
- Strong analytical skills with ability to track metrics, interpret data, and derive actionable insights.
- Proficiency with CRM tools (HubSpot or Salesforce), Google Analytics, BI tools (Power BI or Tableau), and project management tools (ClickUp or Asana).
- Excellent communication and organization skills in a remote setting.
- Proficiency in Google Workspace, especially Google Sheets.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA is a plus).
