Our client has an exciting opportunity for a Non Executive Director to join the team.
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £100K per annum
Time Commitment: 1 or 2 days a month
Job Type: Permanent, Part Time

Offering a fully integrated service, from skilled manpower supply and minor works delivery to vehicle, haulage and plant hire, the company has built a strong reputation for safety, reliability, and high-quality service.
With an ambitious growth strategy and a strong pipeline of opportunities, the business is now seeking a Non-Executive Director to provide independent challenge, support, and guidance as it moves into its next phase of expansion.
Non Executive Director - The Role:
The Non-Executive Director will play a vital role in supporting the Board and executive leadership team, providing strategic insight and oversight as the business continues to scale. You will contribute to long-term growth planning, governance, and risk management, ensuring the business is well positioned to deliver sustainable performance. In addition to attending Board meetings, you will offer guidance on operational scaling, compliance, financial discipline, and stakeholder engagement. Acting as a trusted advisor, you will help shape decision-making and strengthen the company's position within its market.
Non Executive Director - Key Responsibilities:
- Provide independent oversight, constructive challenge and strategic input at Board level
- Support the development and execution of the company's growth strategy
- Advise on governance, compliance and risk management in a regulated environment
- Monitor financial performance and ensure robust controls are in place
- Act as a trusted advisor to the leadership team, supporting effective decision making
Non Executive Director - You:
- Proven senior level leadership or board experience in infrastructure, construction, utilities, rail or other complex regulated environments
- A strong track record in guiding businesses through growth or scale-up phases
- Independence, integrity and the ability to provide constructive challenge
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Prior experience in Non-Executive or advisory positions is desirable
