As Operations Director, you’ll oversee every operational aspect, from venue selection and supplier negotiations to on‑site execution and post‑event analysis, while driving innovation, efficiency, and customer satisfaction across multiple domestic and international events. What you’ll be doing

Define and implement operational strategies to deliver world‑class exhibitions and trade shows. Lead and develop the Operations Team, hiring and mentoring top talent. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Content teams to ensure seamless alignment across all departments. Oversee event planning, budgets, health & safety compliance, and timelines from concept to completion. Source, negotiate, and manage suppliers, ensuring value for money and exceptional service. Introduce innovative tech and sustainable practices to streamline processes and enhance customer experience. Coordinate with international partners and logistics providers for overseas events.

What we’re looking for

7–10 years’ experience in event operations, with at least 3 years in a senior leadership role within B2B exhibitions or trade shows. Proven track record delivering large‑scale domestic and international events. Strong leadership, negotiation, and project management skills. A problem‑solving mindset with the ability to thrive under pressure. Proficiency in event technology platforms (e.g., ExpoFP, Ungerboeck, Swapcard, or similar). Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Event Management, Business, Operations, or related field.
