OverviewOperations Director (Precision Manufacturing) – to £80k. This role leads operations across the UK division for a fast-growing advanced manufacturing business, focusing on logistics, service delivery, supply chain, and site infrastructure. You will work with senior leadership and technical teams to ensure reliable delivery of high-precision systems to a global customer base.Are you experienced in leading operational functions within complex technical or manufacturing environments? Have you managed logistics, fulfilment, and delivery across multiple locations?What You Will Be Responsible ForOperational ManagementOversee logistics, order fulfilment, and service delivery across UK and Irish sitesEnsure customer orders are delivered on time and to agreed specificationsLead and support installation, calibration, and technical service teamsMaintain quality systems and ensure compliance with ISO and other standardsCollaborate with supply partners to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcingMaintain site infrastructure and ensure facilities are fit for purpose and scaleWork with central IT, health and safety, and risk functions to maintain business continuityTake ownership of fleet and vehicle policies across the divisionProcess Improvement and DeliveryEnsure quoting processes are accurate and commercially alignedDrive conversion of orders to revenue with clear delivery metricsImprove performance tracking and reporting across operationsEstablish KPIs and regular reporting for operational performanceSupport transition of internal projects to scalable, repeatable solutionsLead cross-functional communication between commercial and technical teamsBuild operational capacity to support business growthMaintain a divisional risk register and support mitigation planningWho Should ApplyThis role is well suited to an experienced operations leader with a background in complex engineering or manufacturing environments.
