We're now looking for a Operations Director to help build on this and lead the business in the next exciting chapter of the Big Potato story. This is a pivotal operations leadership position at the heart of a dynamic, consumer-focused games company, driving efficiency to fuel growth and innovation.You'll oversee all operational aspects of the business including global manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain for hard-line goods across the UK, the US, and international markets. The role involves designing business processes to support scaling, optimising systems like SAP for automation, and collaborating with function heads in creative, commercial, and finance. Reporting to the CFO and sitting on the Exec Team, you'll lead a team with calm oversight, focusing on people development, ESG commitments, and adaptability in a seasonal, fast-growth environment. Your impact will simplify operations, join cross- functional dots, and enable the company to hit its ambitious growth plans.Key responsibilitiesTeam & Strategic Oversight: Lead and develop teams with hands-on, calm guidance, clarifying roles and fostering collaboration. Support function heads in production, creative ops, and logistics to accelerate decision-making. Apply commercial acumen to adapt in PE-backed, fast-growing settings while advancing sustainability.Supply Chain Leadership: Drive global manufacturing, logistics, and supply chain for hard-line goods, optimising for seasonality and tariffs. Manage in-house production partnerships and warehousing to support just-in-time delivery and cash flow. Ensure compliance with ESG/B-Corp standards across suppliers and materials acquisition.Process Optimisation: Design and own business processes to enable growth, automation, and right-first-time execution. Leverage systems and data, including ERP like SAP, to connect functions and minimise silos.
