DescriptionOur client, a leading Tier 1 contractor, has retained our services to appoint an Operations Director to oversee a £2bn portfolio within a major transmission and distribution framework, with construction scheduled to commence in mid-2025 and continue through to 2030.ResponsibilitiesManage and optimise project delivery across multiple sites, ensuring safety, financial, and sustainability goals are met.Inspire and lead project teams, cultivating a culture of continuous improvement and engagement.Design and implement strategic initiatives that align with the company’s growth goals.Build and maintain strong client relationships by consistently exceeding expectations.Oversee project directors, operational leads, and commercial teams to ensure streamlined and efficient operations.Collaborate with senior leadership to advance business objectives, including work-winning and business development activities.Skills & ExperienceProven leadership experience in a project-focused environment, preferably within the energy or infrastructure sectors.Strong strategic and analytical abilities, with expertise in managing financial and operational performance.Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for building and maintaining relationships with clients and stakeholders.A track record of driving safety standards and promoting sustainability initiatives.RemunerationAn attractive salary and benefits package is available, including:Car allowanceAnnual bonus scheme based on project performancePension planPrivate healthcare cover25 days annual leave, plus bank holidays, with flexible optionsLife assurance
