JOB- Operations DirectorLOCATION- FlintshireTERM- PermanentSALARY- £100,000-£110,000 per annum (dependent on experience)My client is looking for an Operations Director to join their business on a permanent basis in the Flintshire area. The candidate will develop & implement strategic plans and oversee day to day operations of the company working closely with the UK General Manager to implement companies visions and strategic plans. The ideal candidate will come from a high-precision manufacturing environment with exposure to a regulated industry would be beneficial.The Operations Director will ideally have the following attributes:Degree qualified or equivalent work based experienceExperienced working within fast paced environment with hands on approachProven experience in climbing up the corporate ladderEngineering, Operations and Process Implementation experienceHas strong internal and external stakeholder management skillsA proactive, self starter who is consultative and adaptableThe Operations Director role will involve:Assess, review and improve operational processes and procedures in line with company objectives and delivery contracts Implement systems to measure the effectiveness of all company related processes, internal and external, apply cost effective measures and provide timely, accurate and complete performance data reports on the operating condition of the companyManaging all KPI's and reporting to senior stakeholders on performance levelsFormulate, implement, monitor and review company's Health & Safety policy and procedures including risk assessmentsProvide leadership to create an environment that motivates people, communicating effectively and ensuring that they are fully aware of what is expected of them also to encourage and recognise their effortsLiaise with all departments to ensure service delivery is achieved on time, in full, in accordance with budget and quality standards, to fulfil the customers' expectations and with the most effective use of company resources Oversee and ensure that the methods and procedures used comply with ISO 9001 and company's QMS system.
