• Championing diverse developments through various consenting regimes.
• Driving residential, mixed-use, and employment projects (both brownfield and greenfield) from Local Plan promotion to preparing and submitting planning applications of all sizes.
• Conducting insightful research and site appraisals for our diverse client base.
• Managing appeals and potentially representing us at Informal Hearings.
• Building and nurturing strong client relationships.
• Boosting our team's profile and actively supporting business development across the Northeast and with national clients.
• Coordinating internal and external project teams, ensuring seamless project management and quality assurance.

To thrive in this role, you'll be:

• MRTPI qualified with strong planning experience, ideally with a background in renewables or residential projects, preferably within a consultancy.
• An exceptional organiser with superb project management skills.
• Passionate about business growth, including client relationship management and expanding your professional network.
• A strong and clear communicator.
• Capable of working independently and managing complex projects.
• A personable individual and a strong team player.
• Flexible and willing to travel to project locations, client offices, and other Stantec offices across the UK when necessary.
• In possession of a full UK driving licence and access to a car.
