About the role

Are you a strategic leader with a passion for driving commercial excellence and shaping world-class events? RX is seeking an accomplished Portfolio Director to spearhead the growth of a high-impact cluster of exhibitions and events. This is a key leadership role for a commercially driven professional who thrives on delivering exceptional customer value and leading high-performing teams to ambitious growth targets.

Responsibilities

1. Lead the long-term vision, strategy, and innovation roadmap for a portfolio of major events.
2. Inspire and support high-performing, cross-functional teams across event design, sales, marketing, content, and operations.
3. Drive commercial growth and P&L across all revenue streams, including exhibitions, sponsorships, digital products, and ticket sales.
4. Use data and customer insights to shape event formats, content, and engagement strategies.
5. Collaborate with internal teams and senior leaders to align goals and maximize performance.
6. Ensure delivery of high-quality, inclusive, and engaging in-person and digital event experiences.
7. Champion continuous improvement and operational excellence across all event touchpoints.
8. Lead change initiatives to adapt to evolving customer and market needs.

Requirements

1. Significant experience in business events or similar commercial leadership roles.
2. Proven track record of driving growth and innovation in complex portfolios.
