Job Description We’re seeking a talented individual to join our Private Wealth & Family Office tax team in Guildford at a Senior Manager or Associate Director level. Responsibilities
Manage a portfolio of personal clients with complex tax affairs, focusing on non-UK domiciled individuals, HNWIs, and some trusts. Day‑to‑day responsibility for meeting both client and compliance deadlines, monitoring time limits and elections. Lead tax planning projects such as non‑domicile issues, onshore and offshore trusts, capital gains and inheritance tax issues. Manage HMRC enquiries together with any disclosures to HMRC via the worldwide disclosure facility or the offshore disclosure unit. Responsible for billing and monitoring budgets. Assist with managing junior members of staff, including helping them with technical and personal development. Engage in personal business development activities and support the team’s business development activities.
Qualifications
Significant private client tax experience gained within a professional practice. ACA / CTA qualification. Demonstrable knowledge of private client tax and associated professional advice. Demonstrable experience delivering tax planning/advisory projects. Demonstrable experience managing and developing client relationships. Demonstrable experience developing new business into profitable long‑term client relationships. Team and project management skills.
